Landing and Stonehedge

Hey everyone!  Well I made it through my first plane ride and although I was a little nervous as to how it was going to go it wasn't bad at all; besides the fact that it took my ears four hours to pop and hear again, awesome.  Let's just say airports are not my favorite place to spend my time, at least it went by quickly.  This whole day, or should I say two days? (ish) has been a complete blur and it still hasn't hit me that I am actually in England!!!

Now lets talk about that plane ride.  I was so nervous and anxious as to how it was going to go, but once the plane took off I was very content and relaxed.  it was actually kind of enjoyable.  But that ride down, oh man.  My head literally felt like it was going to explode.  And it also didn't help that we literally flew in four or five circles, talk about dizzy.  The plus side was being able to gaze down and see all of the city lights of London.

After finally getting off of the plane after about eight hours and going through all the mumbo-jumbo at the airport we finally boarded the bus to go to Stonehenge.  Exhaustion and sleep-deprivation was definitely full on, but we had to keep moving.  It was really neat being able to see the iconic Stonehenge that I have seen so many pictures, and now I am able to say that I have seen it in person, and I also got to see a few sheep along the way ;).

Following seeing Stonehenge we got to walk around a little and go through the gift shop.  We then boarded the bus to go and get lunch which was much needed, we were all starving!  Probably one of the most funniest moments was watching how excited Ashley got when she was able to order her first "legal" drink.  We then got back on the bus and everyone passed out for a good 45 minutes or so.  We are staying at a hostel in Bath.  The city is so beautiful and I can't wait to tour it tomorrow!  Until next time. -Heather
